OMZ-Special Steels LLC - EAF

Contracted by Forpost Management, SMS group successfully commissioned a 120-t ARCCESS^® electric-arc furnace for in Russia. It now operates in the newly modernized workshops of OMZ-Special Steels in Izhorskiye Zavody.

Included in our supply package were the electric arc furnace as well as the additive supply system, gas cleaning plant, and our X-Pact^® electrical and automation package.

The electric arc-furnace is designed to produce 600,000 tpy. It covers a wide product range - from structural steels to quality steels, plus special rotor and reactor grades for nuclear power stations and the chemical industry.
