3D real-time simulation of technology prior to installation

The entire system is completely installed, tested and pre-optimized in the test fields long before actual site work begins.

For this purpose, a digital twin is created of the customized plant. This twin is connected to the automation system by means of a realistic 3D plant simulation in real time, then tested and pre-optimized.This so-called Plug & Work test may also be used to train the operating staff at the original control desks. This way, the commissioning time can be reduced by up to 30 percent.

SMS group has developed this concept which ensures significant savings.
