The world’s largest ring rolling machine for the production of jet-engine rings
The RAW 1000/800-10000/1500‑EH is capable of rolling jet-engine rings with a maximum ring height of 1,500 mm, meeting the dimensional requirements for future generations of aerospace components.
With a radial rolling force of 1,000 t and an axial rolling force of 800 t, the machine is fully outfitted with electrical equipment, hydraulics, rolling tools, and an advanced software and technology package.
The machine is designed to roll difficult-to-form materials such as titanium and nickel-based alloys, as well as carbon steel rings up to 10 m in diameter. This multi-purpose capability enables Wuxi Paike to address both current and future market demands and expand its portfolio of high-end products.
The RAW-EH machine is equipped with an innovative electrohydraulic direct drive concept across all process axes, providing enhanced precision control and significant energy savings compared with traditional hydraulic-only systems. The absence of a central hydraulic station and the reduction in foundation piping also shorten installation time.
