Installation training for large-size antifriction bearings – in cooperation with Schaeffler
This course offers in-depth knowledge on the installation and dismantling of antifriction bearings. The following modules can be individually combined.
Basic training in antifriction bearing technology
- Antifriction bearing designs and types: Antifriction bearing properties, cages, codes, seals, damage
- Antifriction bearing installation and dismantling: proper handling of antifriction bearings, setting up the work/installation area, professional installation and dismantling in practical exercises.
Application training for spur gear units
Deep-groove ball bearings, self-aligning roller bearing, needle bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, four-point bearings:
- Theoretical preparations for assembly and installation
- Measurement of housing bores, shaft seats, and axle caps
- Thermal, hydraulic, and mechanical dismantling of the bearings
- Thermal and mechanical installation of the bearings
Application training for steel
Four-row tapered roller bearing F-802010-TR4-H122-BR with housing:
- Theoretical preparations for assembly and installation
- Measurement of shaft and housing
- Measurement of the axial play of the bearing and designation of the spacer rings
- Installation of the bearing in the housing and on the shaft
- Dismantling of the bearing
Four-row cylindrical roller bearing Z-527634-ZL with housing:
- Theoretical preparations for assembly and installation
- Measurement of shaft and housing
- Installation of the outer races in the housing
- Thermal mounting of the inner races on the shaft
- Installation of the outer race and roller race incl. housing on the inner races
- Dismantling of the housing and outer race
- Hydraulic and mechanical dismantling of the inner races
