Walking-hearth furnaces are the perfect choice for many long product mills, with production rates of up to 140 tons per hour.
Operating with top heating alone means they are ideal for products with a maximum thickness of 160 mm. It also benefits you that this furnace type significantly cuts specific consumption because there are no water- cooled elements inside the furnace.

Specific consumption: ≤ 260kcal/kg
Have you ever thought about heavy-duty, no-frills furnaces for billet reheating? Then a pusher furnace is a smart choice. Why? Because this type is designed specifically to operate in low-production-rate mills for common steel grades such as rebars.
Top-fired pusher-type furnaces combine the benefits of sturdy construction and simplicity in design with low consumption rates. Common to both top and bottom- fired pusher-type furnaces is the fact that they attain high production rates. So, if you produce simple products, pusher-type furnaces are an inexpensive alternative to more sophisticated walking-hearth or walking-beam types.
