Highly versatile, the new combined reduction and EDT rolling mill can be operated in heavy-force reduction mode as well as light-force EDT mode. That's why it features CVC® plus and our extended bending system (EBS) combined with other state-of-the-art rolling technologies in 4-high or 6-high configuration. This ensures excellent strip quality for any material requirements. You can choose to have the combined reduction and EDT rolling mill designed as a single-stand or tandem mill.

Solutions for all your product requirements

Our single-stand CRM is an all-rounder in aluminum rolling. It covers the whole range of products up to an annual production capacity of some 150,000 t. There is nothing to beat the CRM when it comes to hard grades. This mill type rolls a material range from AA1xxx up to AA8xxx series. To suit your specific requirements, you can choose between CVC® plus 4-high or 6-high versions.

The CRM consists of the entry section with coil preparation station and pay-off reel, the mill with a single stand in CVC® plus 4-high or 6-high design, and the exit section with tension reel and inspection line. Completing the plant is equipment for spool and pup coil handling, coil logistics, and automatic roll change devices. You benefit from technology that’s not only profitable, but also sustainable. Take for example our Multi-Plate® filter for efficient rolling oil conditioning. Equally eco-friendly, our Airwash™ system cleans the exhaust air in an absorption process with washing oil. Then it reclaims the rolling oil for re-use.
