Our Drever furnaces are designed for optimal energy utilization to give you a better eco-balance. Here is how it works: first in line is strip pre-heating in a radiation zone. This operates with the exhaust gas from the downstream heating furnaces. To increase thermal efficiency, the combustion air is preheated in a recuperator that uses exhaust air. Additionally implemented here is a mathematical model that sets and controls the process parameters over the entire annealing cycle.
We also combine this model with a pickling model to coordinate both processes. There are even more extras, such as the carousel-type support rolls designed for easy maintenance. Finally, roll changing takes just 15 minutes without interrupting operation.
