DUMA-BANDZINK GmbH of Mönchengladbach, a full subsidiary of SMS group GmbH, acquires all shares in AMTEC Kistler GmbH of Prittriching near Augsburg (Bavaria). The managing partner Leonhard Kistler will continue as managing director for a transition period up to September 30, 2018, after which he will be available to AMTEC in an advisory role.
AMTEC Kistler GmbH was founded in 1987. It has developed into a leading manufacturer of machines and automation solutions for dosing and spraying thin liquid to paste-like media in the automotive industry. Its customers include leading German and international automotive manufacturers. The company is a technology leader in particular for oiling machines used prior to the deep-drawing process in automobile presses (spot oiling machines). Here, it has set a new industry standard with the Triboflex system.
Due to this acquisition and incorporation of AMTEC Kistler, DUMA-BANDZINK is now a complete supplier in the field of oiling steel and aluminum from the production stage in the rolling mill through strip processing and up to further processing in the body pressing shop.
