SMS group pallet cars for sinter plants are designed for maximum reliability, efficiency, and longevity in demanding sintering environments. Each pallet car features a robust, one-piece body made from nodular cast iron, providing superior cost efficiency and resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses. Track wheels and pressure rollers are equipped with antifriction bearings and seals, eliminating the need for lubrication during operation, though re-lubrication options are available for specific needs.
The advanced, wear-resistant, spring-loaded sealing elements use special material slide bars to prevent false air suction between the pallet car and wind boxes, ensuring process stability and energy efficiency.

Building on decades of expertise, this proprietary design introduces full movability of both the grizzly bar carrier and the entire breaker assembly. This innovation allows for rapid, safe access to critical components, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and improving plant availability. The breaker is engineered to withstand the harshest conditions, with advanced hardfacing on rotating stars and grizzly bars, and ceramic and Nihard linings on the crush deck for superior wear resistance. Maintenance is streamlined: the breaker can be retracted for easy replacement of the shaft/star assembly and crush deck, and all high-stress parts are designed for quick, straightforward replacement.
