SMS group collaborates with Vietnam’s Hanoi University of Science and Technology
According to the cooperation agreement signed and spoken at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pino Tesè mentioned that SMS group plans to organize teaching sessions for the students on current and emerging technological topics through various practical seminars and workshops.
SMS will invest in the development and training of top final year students and graduates of MSE – HUST by facilitating and sponsoring one candidate from final year to do the graduation thesis at the SMS office in Ho Chi Minh City with a period of 3 months. In addition, it is planned to sponsor a 4-month training program in the India and Asia Pacific region for MSE students with the highest results in the final and concurrent HUST-SMS exam. Every year, SMS will sponsor scholarships for 5 excellent students of MSE – HUST, along with agreement validity.
Prof. Dr. Dean Huynh Trung Hai said that the practical cooperation between the two sides would help the students gain advanced technical knowledge with an international exposure so that they are prepared to meet the increasing demand in steel production.
