Two-stand tandem cold mill (TCM #1)
SMS to delivers a state-of-the-art two-stand aluminum tandem cold rolling mill to Aluminum Dynamics, LLC. Both of the six-high rolling stands incorporate the proven CVC®plus technology in combination with the full range of actuators and technological controls. The TCM processes a maximum strip width of millimeters and a minimum strip thickness of 0.5 millimeters. Designed for automotive grades, it processes 5xxx and 6xxx-series alloys commonly used for internal and external car parts.
Single-stand cold rolling mill (CRM #1)
The single-stand cold rolling mill (CRM1), also designed in the six-high CVC®plus configuration, offers high flexibility. It can roll a wide range of aluminum grades for can stock and automotive applications. With a maximum strip width of 2,200 millimeters, it handles strip thicknesses from 0.15 to 6 millimeters.
Two-stand tandem cold mill (TCM #2)
TCM #2, the second tandem cold mill, is specialized for can stock rolling. Its two stands feature six-high configuration and are equipped with CVC®plus technology for roll shifting along with work and intermediate roll bending, offering an extensive range of roll gap settings. The TCM #2 is fitted with almost every actuator and item of process equipment found in TCM #1. With a maximum strip width of 2,200 millimeters, this mill achieves final gauges ranging from 0.15 to 3.5 millimeters.
