Electrically heated annealing and galvanizing with AI‑controlled coating

CAL/CGL combines continuous annealing with inline galvanizing using an electrically heated Drever furnace, advanced atmosphere control, Duma Bandzink air-knife, and AI X‑Pact model. It handles 900–1,900 mm widths, 0.4–2.5 mm thickness, up to 180 m/min, with 650,000 t/a capacity.

The Combined Continuous Annealing and Galvanizing Line (CAL/CGL) combines annealing and inline galvanizing for enhanced corrosion protection. It shares the same key features with the CGL—fully electrically heated Drever furnace, advanced atmosphere control, Duma Bandzink air knife system, the X Pact® model, the same strip range, process speed and capacity — while specifically enabling precise annealing cycles for the required microstructure. Complementing these capabilities, final material surface conditioning is performed inline by a skin-pass mill and tension leveler, while the line’s high degree of automation ensure consistent quality and seamless process integration.
