The LCC® Loop Cooling Conveyor is a key system for achieving exact material properties in wire rod production. As the final step after rolling, it allows precise control of the cooling rate and temperature distribution, ensuring optimal metallurgical results. Thanks to its patented 3‑fan technology, temperature deviations between individual loops can be reduced by up to 50%, resulting in uniform mechanical properties and high product quality.
Different operating modes enable the selective adjustment of microstructures such as fine laminar pearlite or ferrite/pearlite. The modular and curved conveyor design allows tailor‑made plant layouts and easy integration with in‑line heat treatment systems, covering diameters from 4.5 to 27 mm and a wide range of steel grades.
