Nexcast ® is a unique and novel block caster that forms the centerpiece of a fully integrated casting and hot rolling line for the production of flat-rolled aluminum at Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, Colorado. It was co-developed and manufactured by SMS group. Nexcast® is characterized by low investment and operating costs and has the potential to be a key technology for transforming the aluminum industry, making it more circular and efficient.
