Crack testing
Crack tests at regular intervals are indispensable to prevent failure of the plant. The SMS group Technical Service knows exactly which areas of the components are subjected to the highest stresses. If any damage is detected, we derive direct recommendations for action.
Equipment check
Service technicians record the actual condition of the plant and discuss the results with you immediately on site. Afterwards, you will receive a report containing maintenance measures as well as recommendations for repair and modernization.
Maintenance support
Based on the results of the equipment check, we support you with the implementation of the measures – no matter whether they concern hydraulic, mechanical or electrical equipment.
Alignment check
Specifically trained service technicians check the geometrical alignment of the plant.
Optimization of hydraulic system and control technology
In order to keep plant productivity on a continuously high level, optimization of the hydraulic systems and control technology is required.
Our service technicians are specifically trained for the work on extrusion presses and focus exclusively on this type of equipment – also for plants from other manufacturer.
