VOD plants are adapted to the more aggressive nature of the process.
- Additional water-cooled shields under the vacuum cover
- A purely fireproof or partially or completely water-cooled splash guard
- Design and control of the vacuum pump in the different pressure ranges correspond to the demanding process
- Bag filters ensure exhaust gas cleaning, so that no additional dust load is generated in the vacuum pump
- Continuous monitoring of the exhaust gas composition for optimum control of the blowing process
